With 33% of its 667 skiable acres rated beginner and another 38% intermediate, Okemo leans toward exactly the kind of confidence-building terrain a family with young or new skiers wants, without feeling like a "beginner-only" hill -- there's still real vertical (2,200 ft) and enough advanced/expert terrain (30% combined) for parents or older kids to get a real run in. The Little Dippers program takes skiers from age 3, one of the youngest formal ski-school entry points in the Northeast.
